Groovy Floppy Funky Coca-Cola Hat
From 1972 Era
Made of a lightweight canvas material, which is 100% cotton. Still has both tags. ILGWU -International Ladies Garment Workers Union Made. Although seemingly used, it hasn't been abused. It looks new condition. Bright Vivid Colors. The tag has the original owner's name written, and very minor little soil spots here and there. So tough to see, that one needs to look hard. We've never laundered. Had this in our collection for many years, Well Protected.
One of the Most Desirable of hats, since it never went out of style. The pants that match, we had sold. |

Many Collectors ignore these Cool Jerk Caps. Because of this, Sellers Disrespect pricing. Which in turn, cheapens the Actual Worth. In reality, the Majority of these Soda Jerk Caps, are Well Worth $20.00 to Hundreds of Dollars. Depending on age, condition and rarity. Especially if it was made during a period of time, when printing Was still Considered a Skillful Art Form. Unlike today, where the computer does it all.

A Good Majority of these caps, were produced by the Coca-Cola Company for specific events, such as baseball games, rodeos, etc.. Not created for the Collector's Market. Which is an Important thing to keep in mind when adding to your' collection. Think Twice BEFORE SPENDING Your' Hard Earned Money on things that were produced for the Collector's Market. Concentrate More on items that were Company Produced for Company Use.
I've seen some Outrageous Collections, and many of those collections, had life size manikins standing about. Dressed with original old/vintage uniforms, complete with hats n caps. No collection is complete, without adding Life to It..........
Adding my two cents of a not so humble opinion on the subject of collecting.
