Operates and works as it should. No physical damage.
The tin metal pan has the same serial number / date ? as does the underside of the scale. So it's safe to assume the pan is original to this scale. [TK -0354 1906 - which the 1906 may be the date as well.
Made of iron with ornate nickel plated face. This was in our personal collection for many years. Haven't done anything to it.
Always leaving our find original as found. A light surface cleaning/oiling is all that we've done to it. The paint may or may not be all original. It's been on there for a Long Long Time.
Finish age/use flaws, oxidation spots to the indicator face, the pan has some expected dings/dents etc.. As the images show.

These old scoops have always been collected. They display Nicely with the Candy Scales.
Though used, not abused. Heavy Cast Aluminum. Again, We prefer keeping our items as found, with it's age patina. We will wash if dirty, but, anything other than a light washing, would ruin the Nice Old Look. If you like, aluminum is easy to clean and polish. (I can't believe I typed that)

This is a well used, but not abused scoop. We find no Maker marks, except for the number (1) on the underside of the handle.
Has some dings-n-dangs, but nothing so bad.

We've sold many hundreds of old counter jars through the years. Some had obvious Original lids, while others may or may not have been original glass lids to the jar. Such as in this case. Since the majority of clear glass lids are alike, it's tough to ascertain.
